Igalo – if they adopt the changes of DUP for Igalo, for the part of Sistet – Bare, with which they would allow the construction in the already too inhabited place, the development of the Institute “Simo Milosevic” will be limited – it was stated on a yesterday’s press conference by the heads of that health – medical institution.
According to the new plan, on about 25ha, across the Mediterranean center, a hotel should be built, with about 450 apartments for the market, sports terrains and the main bus station.
Comparing the damage with the one which would appear with the installation of the silos for the overload of cement in the harbor Zelenika, the president of the board of directors Dragan Jankovic said that the plan is disregarding the negative consequences for the development of the health tourism, Institute and Igalo as a healing place, and which would appear with the new construction.
He invited the local administration, which has put on the agenda of the tomorrow LP to respect the Master, as well as spacious plans.
All those documents define that, he added, “Herceg Novi will be a center specializes for the health tourism”.
Because of the devastation of the space, which was reserved for further widening and development of the Institute, he added, there can appear a decrease of the interest of the investors, but also the decrease of the price of the Institute, which should soon be announced on the open competition.
Radojicic said that the local authorities have not shown the cooperation and that they haven’t adopted any interest or demand of the Institute in the past four years.
He reminded that Institute has more than 1.000 employees, and that another 200 small enterprises attaches their business for the business of the institute, which means that the future, and the existence of great number of people depends on the development of that institution.
MIHAJLOVIC: THE HISTORY IS REPEATING
Dean of the Faculty for applied physic therapy PhD Vukasin Mihajlovic stated that the history is repeating.
During the construction of the first phase, in 1970’s, he says, the politicians and the powerful people allowed the construction in the immediate vicinity of that facility and disabled the adequate development of that institution.
He warned also on the pollution of the healing mud and the river Sutorina, which is the consequence of the uncontrolled urbanization.
– Why doesn’t Mandic stand on the side of the interest of the citizens, and not on the side of the construction lobby? He decided to make the town go in the worst possible way, down the way which Budva went, which is already paying the price for that – said the dean of the High school of the sorority “Kraljica Jelena” (QUEEN JELENA), PhD Milan Obradovic.
