Andrijevica – The assistant minister of agriculture Vojo Lijesevic, and the president of the municipality Andrijevica Veselin Bakic have opened yesterday 14 kilometers long road Males – Peovi – Stavna – Tresnjevik. It is a joint project of the citizens of local communities of Konjuha, Kosutica, Bozici, and Kralje, on that occasion in Dulipolje yesterday was held a suitable ceremony on which it was said that that project was about 8.000 euros worth, and it has been carried out thanks to the financial donations of the Ministry of agriculture which gave 5.000 euros, the municipality Andrijevica which gave 2.000 euros, and the contractor “Boy commerce” gave its help by not charging the 30 hours of their work. The construction of the road was aided by many individuals and collectives, including the local people of the mentioned communities who worked free of charge.
In the name of the Organization board spoke Cedo Babovic who expressed his gratitude to all those who gave their contribution in any way for this important infrastructural object to be made, which beside the fact that it will enable a much easier communication with those areas, will significantly contribute to the development and promotion of village and mountain tourism. That section, as he pointed out, at the same time connected those areas with the also recently opened eco cottage house on Stavna.
How great importance that traffic road has in the segment of development and promotion of agriculture and cattle breeding, as well as in production of healthy food, best speaks the record that the same road connects 4 summer pasture cottages which local people use during the summer months on Stavno, Varda, Ljuban, and Lis, it was told at the ceremony in Konjusi.
The construction of that road is just a part of the activities which are done for the improvement of the road infrastructre in the area of Andrijevica municipality, because on a yesterday’s ceremony it was announced that the asphalting of several roads in the areas of Trepca, Josanica, and Seoce will start in a few days.
