Herceg Novi – Spanjola (Spain) one of the most luxurious and most attractive Herceg Novi fortresses from which a marvelous view stretches on the town and Boka bay has been cleaned and is ready for the visitors.
Previous month and a half, four unemployed people from the evidence of the Bureau of work, along with the temporary help of the workers of “Cistoca” (Cleanness), from communal and green waste have cleaned about 4.500 square meters inside the fortress and a part of the area around its outer bulwarks.
Action has been done as a part of the project which Bureau for employment of Montenegro organizes in cooperation with the local administrations and public enterprises. Bureau for employment has provided for salaries, transport, and food for workers 4.291 euros, and the municipality has provided the material and the tools. One of the workers who were engaged in the work on the fortress was Adis Hodzic, electrical technician who wasn’t able to find a job in his field so he accepted to clean Spanjola.
All the bulwarks have been cleaned from weed, which devastates the fortress, and the interior of the fortress has been disinfected.
