Igalo – In Mediterranean health institute at Igalo for treatment and holiday yesterday arrived first this year group of Norwegians in so called “State Program”. In this group there are 108 patients whose stay is financed by Norwegian Ministry of social care.
Till end of October it is planned that in Igalo stay 10 groups of around 100 patients each.
“State Program” in Institute is realized from 1972. It was stopped during war at region of ex-Yugoslavia but patients continued to arrive in Igalo and it is renewed nine years ago.
From town of Kristiansand at rehabilitation is group of 100 guests who will stay at Igalo for 28 days.
-In Mediterranean center last year at holiday and treatment there were 1200 guests from Norway. We expect some more guests from that Scandinavia country – said director for hotel Zeljko Andric, explaining that it rely to increase of number of individual guests.
In Mediterranean center now are 450 mainly foreign guests. Apart Norwegians the most are Dutch and there are also Russians and Germans.
In the first phase of Institute, that was open at start of April, now stay 350 patients among who is the largest number of users of Montenegrin Health Fund.
