Prague – Montenegro this year will accommodate 35.000 of Czech tourists, which is 15% more than last year, it was said yesterday on a presentation of the offer of Montenegro at the opening of the Prague tourism market “Holiday world”.
Tourist organization of Budva for the first time has presented itself individually on some of the European tourism fairs; also on their stand they have presented the tourist offer of Montenegro too. On a press conference in the big congress hall of the Prague stock market the deputy of minister of tourism Nebojsa Popovic, director of the National tourist organization, Sasa Radovic and the vice president of the Municipality of Budva, Lazar Radjenovic spoke.
After the emitting of the propaganda material about Buva and Montenegro, they answered the questions of more than 50 representatives of media and tourist organizations of Czech republic.
Montenegro last year accommodated 28.600 Czech guests, which is 7% more than it was the case a year before. There is a great interest of Czech tourists for private accommodation, especially in Budva – said Radovic.
Radjenovic said that Budva this year has something to offer to Czech market.
– Except the new hotels and the contracts with world chains of hotels which Budva made, for sure we need to point out the great investments in private accommodation and improvement of the infrastructure of the town on which the local administration especially instead on. About how much people have invested in the improvement of the quality of private accommodation best testifies the record that citizens have taken about 12 millions of euros of mortgage credits for the construction of new and renewal of the existing accommodation capacities in private accommodation – noted Radjenovic.
According to the words of the director of tourist organization of Budva, Tanja Kazanegra, 9.300 guests visited Budva Rivieira from Czech republic last year, and they had about 55.000 overnight stays. On a stand of tourist organization of Budva tourist organization of Bar, HTE “Budva Riviera”, “Onogost”, “Montenegrostar” and “Korali” as well as tourist organizations “Monteja Globetours”, “Montenegro charter”, and JAMB have also presented their offer.
16th international tourist market in Prague which ws solemnly open yesterday gathered more than 700 exhibitors from 50 countries of the world, and they are expecting to have more than 30.000 visitors.
