Igalo – Hotel “Centar” in Igalo, after a several months of break, will be opened on the 7th of May. The first guests will traditionally be Montenegrin pensioners.
They will be staying in Igalo in three groups for 10 days, ad the price of the full board, with three physical therapies and medical check up will be 17 euros.
Pensioners traditionally open and close the tourist season in that hotel.
According to the arrangement with PII, this year, 1.200 pensioners will be staying in hotel “Centar” who will be able to pay their vacation in 10-month installments.
At the beginning of June, through Montenegrin work organization, the first group of 1.000 members of the Union will arrive in Igalo. Hotel “Centar” in which in the last few years guests from the region have been resting, will count this year on those clients too.
On the tourism fair in Belgrade, which began yesterday, some already arranged arrangements should have been closed up.
The guests this year in the peak of the season will pay 28 euros for the full boards, and in the pre and post season 19 euros.
Last year the hotel has 60.000 overnight stays, and this year, said the president of the Board of director Lazar Corovic, they are expecting the increase of about 5%.
For the preparation of the season in the hotel “Centar” they have spent this year 80.000 euros.
More significant investments in the facility are planned for the next year. Consortium HLT fund and HTE “Primorje”, who have bought the major package of stocks for 3,1 millions of euros, have obliged themselves that they will invest somewhat more than 4 millions of euros, in order to bring to hotel to the category of 3 plus stars. That should create the pre conditions for the arrival of guests whose paying abilities are much better.
The project of the renewal of the hotel should be terminated at the end of this year. Hotel “Centar” has 500 beds, a covered pool with mineral water, polyvalent hall and other accompanying contents.
