Tivat – Big mega yacht New Sunrise which is 61 meters long and which is tied on city Riva Pine in Tivat since last weekend was joined yesterday by somewhat smaller but also very attractive motor yacht Serena M.
Canadian billionaire Peter Munk, the new owner of the Arsenal came to Tivat with that ship which is already for several days in Boka.
Accompanied with several closest workers from the firm Adriatic Marinas which day before yesterday took over formally from the Government the Arsenal Munk took a walk around Tivat and down the military shipbuilding yard which in the next few years he will turn into an exclusive navigation tourist center Porto Montenegro.
The main architect of Porto Montenegro, which is more than 600 millions worth was in the company of Peter Munk who was touring the Arsenal. His name is Brian Brisbin and he comes from the renowned project bureau “Brisbin, Brook & Benyon architects”.
Munk with a part of his family since Friday is in Montenegro on yacht Serena M with which they cruised over Boka.
On the deck of the ship there is a helicopter with which the Canadian and his business partners and guests who in the past few days visited him on Serena M flew over Boka and the north part of Montenegrin coast. Serena M has gross weight of 509 tones, is 45, 6 meters long, 9, 5 wide, and its drift is 2, 7 meters.
That luxurious aluminum yacht as made in 1999 in Great Britain in the shipbuilding yard “Pendennis” by the project of the famous navigation team “Dubois”.
With the speed of 15, 5 knots it is moved by two caterpillar engines, of total power of 2.000 kW and it has 11 members of crew.
The ship which can receive 13 guests sails under the flag of Cayman Islands is registered in the harbor of Georgetown and on the paper its owners is company “Calm Waters Maritime Limited”.
