Zabljak – The idea of the employees of HTE “Primorje” from Tivat, in whose structure for almost a year operates “Planinka”, the biggest hotel in the north, with 132 rooms, 6 suites and 5 half suites, about the opening of the new playground for children made out to be a great move, thanks to which Zabljak got the offer of which only words of praise can be heard.
Hotel has an adequate room; the equipment didn’t cost much, so the playground started functioning this season. The youngest guests of the hotel spend in it a lot of time, but not just randomly but in an organized way, according to the program of two animators. And it is all for free, because obviously it is the favorite place of young ones, and it is included in the price of a half board in a two bedded room, for which the price until the end of January is 22€.
The hall in which until now mostly numerous seminars and meetings were held, now is a room with a TV which is reserved for watching cartoons. There are also a toboggan, pillows, chairs, tables, colored pens, basket ball hoop and a house. All of these things are in dimensions which are suitable for the youngest users.
Sandra Slovnikar from NGO “Knjizevna omladina Tivta” (LITERATE YOUTH FROM TIVAT) who is a children poet and an animator with her colleague Igor Markovski from NGO “Centar za kreativno odrastanje Carobnjak” (CENTER FOR CREATIVE GROWING UP WIZZARD) from Tivat are also socializing with children in the smallest town of Boka.
– The opening of the playground room is a real pleasure for both the kids and the adults. It started at the end of last year with a New Year’s play with Santa Clause, it lasts during the whole day and it’s diverse. There is no free game, and everything is happening according to the planned program. That means creative work shops of children’s rights, no limit games. We are organizing reciting, literary and art competitions, and children’s poets are our frequent guests – say Sandra and Igor during the picking of pair for a tough basket which came afterwards and which was accompanied by the ovations of dozens of children present.
They added that for theirs work there is a great interest of kids from other hotels, from private accommodation, and of kids from Zabljak, as well as interest of foreigners which still haven’t learned their own language, but they are fitting in, and they are establishing communication in a way which is known only to them.
The plan to end a staying in “Planinka” with a story changes an ambience in a spacious aperitif bar which, with the sounds of suitable music with a popular performer, was filled up to the last spot.
The manager of the hotel Mitar – Mico Baranin says that 325 beds of the hotel is 80% filled with the guests from Japan, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro.
The guest Tatjana Coric from Bar on our insisting that she should state her impressions, says that from her childhood she has been staying on Zabljak, and the last 10 winters she stayed in this hotel.
– It is much better than it was the case in the previous few winters, and everything reminds me on the golden 80’s. The rooms are very neat, the food on the Swedish table can not be better, because of the fact that it has something from the menu of Montenegrin national cuisine and the cuisine of this area. People from Durmitor do not have it in their blood to serve someone, but the stuff in the hotel is very kind and helpful. About the heat I shall not waste my words, because majority of guests are walking in the short sleeved shirts – says Tatjana, commending the playground room in which her kids are staying too, as well as the ski terrains on Savin kuk.
Snezana and Danko Zivkovic from Niksic say that they are pleased with the conditions of their staying in “Planinka”.
– It is much better than it was the case three or four years ago. The stuff is kind, comfort is at a satisfying level, and the contents are great. The food is good, and what is most important it is clean, the stuff is kind, and the playground room is a great solution. Still, some contents are lacking which, I hope, soon will be offered. But the city traffic lines are in a really bad shape and you can’t find a place where you can buy a real Durmitor souvenir. We should bear in mind that not only hotels we also are a part of it – say Zivkovici.
With a remark that the hotel needs to be renewed and modernized these kinds of praises are said by Bozidar, Rosa, and Aleksandra Miranovic from Belgrade. Rosa is a tourist worker with 15 years of experience of work in New York.
– The town is neglected, with a lot of ruined houses. It needs some liveliness, shopping and handiworks. Some investments are needed on Savin kuk too. There can be no ice or holes on the entire road from the hotel to the ski path and on the parking lot itself from which you can not come out of mud – say still pleased Zivkovic family and they emphasize the beauties of Montenegro which can hardly be found anywhere else, as well as local people who are very communicative and spontaneous.
