Herceg Novi – Second International festival of classic guitar “Guitar Art Summer Fest” will be held from 15th to 22nd of August in Herceg Novi.
That was announced after the talk of director of the festival Bosko Radojkovic with the representatives of local administration, Tourist organization of the town, and “Hercegfest”.
Director of guitar Art, Belgrade guitar player Bosko Radojkovic announced a rich festival program.
Greek guitar player Kostas Kociolis with the singer Angelika Katakliu, Phillip Villa from France, “Antonio Schiano trio” from Portugal, Nedeljko Pejovic, and Milos Karadaglic from Montenegro, Srdjan Tosic from Serbia, “Rambo Amadeus trio”, “Mikele Libraro, and Roberto Fabri from Italy will be playing in Herceg Novi.
What will be particularly interesting to the audience is by all means the concert of the Portuguese trio which is performing the world popular fado music full of passion, sorrow, life, jealousy, mourn, and often even satire. The organizer believe that “Antonio Schiano trio” will repeat the success which was last year made by Miroslav Tadic and Vlatko Stefanovski playing on Kanli kula.
Except the concerts all participants of the GAF will have master’s courses, and for the beginners of master’s classes there will b organized a competition with interesting rewards.
Programs will be organized on the Square of music (Square of Mico Pavlovic near the Music school), on Kanli kula, and in atrium of the Hometown museum. During the festival in gallery Sue Rayder there will be organized an exhibition “Guitar visual art” by Svetlana Pavlovic Djindo who will present herself with about 30 drawings and collage works. Organizers of Herceg Novi festival are Guitar Art Belgrade, Association “Argus” Podgorica, “Hercegfest”, Music school and NGO “Guitar” Podgorica.
