Ministry of tourism and Tourist organization of Montenegro in past several years promoted Montenegro at the market of Serbia through different marketing communications that resulted in good visit from Serbian market. Campaigns “The summer among friends”, “Traditional cuisine of Montenegro”, “Discover, experience, enjoy” in passed period positioned Montenegro at market of Serbia as new, interesting destination that should be again discovered and enjoy in it.
Also this year in cooperation with hotels, strategic partners and local tourist organizations we presented ourselves at Belgrade fair of tourism and presentation of Montenegrin tourist industry caused extremely good interests.
Considering that tourists from Serbia usually immediately before holiday decide on certain tourist destination, our promotional activities did not finished with presentation at fair of tourism but this as well as last year during this and next month Tourist organization of Montenegro will in cooperation with local tourist organizations and strategic partners of Montenegrin tourism, present to Serbian market whole tourist offer of Montenegro through media and promotional presentations that will follow adequate message and invitation for spending summer holiday in Montenegro.
The campaign started on June 12 and will last for 9 weeks.
On Wednesday June 14, Tourist organization of Montenegro in cooperation with local tourist organizations starts “Road show”, visiting larger cities in Serbia and Vojvodina (Nis, Cacak, Kragujevac, Uzice, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad). Conception of program understands press conferences, meetings with local officials, media and agencies.
Outdoor campaign also starts these days so that at territory of Serbia will be posted over 120 billboards with images of Montenegro.
Promotional clips concerning general campaign “Discover, experience, enjoy” starts soon to be broadcast at influential TV programs in Serbia.
In the most published daily newspaper “Vecernje Novosti” will be published several addenda on Montenegrin tourism, with “Blic” we continue prize game that started last year “Leto na Blic”, in scope of which we will in cooperation with our strategic partners hotels managements award readers of “Blic” summer vacations.
In weekly papers “Gloria” and “Evropa” will be published several reports on tourist destinations in Montenegro.
For beginning of July in Belgrade is planed press conference of Ministry of tourism, Tourist organization of Montenegro and tourist industry.
Tourist organization of Montenegro will in cooperation with local tourist organizations in coming 9 weeks at market of Serbia present as at emitting European market, promoting advantages of Montenegro in respect to competitive destinations. First of all, quality of tourist product, hotel – catering capacities that from year to year raise level of category and only in this year season will open 5 large modern and reconstructed hotels and completely new “Splendid” that will have category of 4, 4+ and 5*.
We will also promote USP – Unique selling proposition, comparative advantage of Montenegro in respect to competitive destinations, unique differences of coastal and north part of Montenegro, traditional manifestations authentic for region where are taking place, national parks, lakes, rivers, beaches… marinas where is improved service for berthing of yachts and boats, restaurants with traditional and international cuisine.
Prices of private accommodation where largest number of tourists from Serbia even so far stayed are at last year level and owners of villas, apartments and houses considerably raised level of quality in this facilities that is also one segment of promotion of tourist offer of Montenegro.
And at the end, considering that in fact nothing changed beside we raised quality of offer to higher level, same language, vicinity of Montenegro, hospitality and ambient where Serbian tourists always felt welcome as well as possibility of arrival without administrative procedure, visas or passports will surely contribute to successful promotion in Serbia and decision of Serbian tourists to spend their vacation in Montenegro.
