Budva – Legendary rock group Rolling Stones will have a concert in Budva on the 9th of July – it was agreed yesterday with their managers, found out “Vijesti”.
The negotiations, which lasted for about 10 days, were terminated successfully in the early morning hours. It was agreed that the Rollin Stones would have a concert in Budva on their world tour for which, as we found out, certain members of the group heard for the first time.
In the name of the organizers, Municipality of Budva, were led by the town manager Aleksandar Ticic and the vice president of the Municipality Lazar Radjenovic with the support of the president of DPS Svetozar Marovic, whose idea anyway was to have the “rolling stones” come to the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism.
Budva concert is one of the final ones, which are a part of the world tour of Rolling Stones. After the Italian capital, straight from Rome, Jager with his friends will come to Budva.
“Vijesti” found out that it is still unknown what is the fee that the Rolling Stones have asked for the concert in Montenegro, but a million of euros is the lowest price for the onset of old timer rockers.
Having in mind that already on the 14th of July they are having a concert in Belgrade, for which they will get the fee of million and a half of euros, they will probably ask for the similar amount for their arrival in Montenegro.
General sponsors of Belgrade concert are Apatin brewery and Knjaz Milos, and many powerful companies from the neighboring company have fought to take over the sponsorship. Such practice will be seen in Budva too, where the financial sponsorship of the Municipality will be negligible, while the sponsorship will be left ower to the leading domestic companies. As we find out, mobile operators and certain banks are already in the game.
Rolling Stones are coming in Budva with 65 trucks of concert equipment – from lights to the stage, and there are more than 200 people of assistant staff. The space on Jaz will be adjusted for the placement of the stage, which is more than 100 meters long. They are expecting the presence of more than 100.000 visitors not just from Montenegro, but also from Neighboring Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Macedonia.
The price for tickets has still not been determined, but as we find out, in Belgrade it will be about 30 euros, so only through the sale of the tickets half of the fee for which the world stars will be performing can be paid up.
“Vijesti” find out that Rolling Stones will be accommodated in hotel “Splendid” where one of the three luxurious suites intended for guests of high class is reserved for Jager.
