Herceg Novi – After Roman Abramovic, Oleg Deripaska, Luskov and a colon of other Russian yuppies, the inhabitant of the Montenegrin coast could also become a real star from the West.
The famous Formula 1 driver Ralph Schumacher according to the writings of a Croatian newspaper “24 casa” (24 HOURS), after buying 4 years ago a house with his friends in one Istar village, he should soon become an owner of a real estate in Montenegro too.
The paper says that this was confirmed by Schumacher’s agent Ronny Noble who was “just preparing the paper documentation for the transfer of the ownership over seven and a half millions worth land and the palace in the vicinity of the Croatian border”.
As Noble said, younger brother of Michael Schumacher made choice for this location because soon Montenegro will be very popular, and the coast is still pretty much undeveloped.
– Ralph liked the land also because of the fact that it provides a lot of privacy and freedom from the paparazzi- said Noble.
The magazine reminds us that only 20 km toward North, in Cavtat, a house was bought by the ex Austrian tennis player 37 years old Thomas Muster. In difference to Schumacher, who strives for privacy, Muster bought his house from the ex American ambassador in Belgrade, William Montgomery.
In Herceg Novi Municipality, however, no one from the heads of the Municipality, owners of the real estate agencies but also other “well – informed” people, has heard about this intention.
“In the last two days I have spoken with competent and expert people about the urban plans for some parts of the municipality. I believe that that was the place for me to at least to officially hear something about that kind of purchase”, said for “Vijesti” the Mayor Dejan Mandic, negating that he knows anything about the sales of the land to the famous Formula 1 driver.
Many of our collocutors have expressed a doubt that the villa “Galeb” the residence of the ex president of SFRJ, Jospi Broz Tito, which operates as a part of the Institute Dr Simo Milosevic in Igalo, is the one being sold. In about 5.600 m2 of residential space, there are several suites, a restaurant, a bar, resting hall, working cabinet which was used by Tito in the past, a kitchen etc… Special parts represent various therapy contents. Beside the pool with mineral water, mud and pearl bathtub, there are parts for hydro, electro and massage therapy as well as a trim hall.
Villa is surrounded by a park, with special gates and even though it is in the immediate vicinity of the Institute and the shore, physically it is pretty much isolated from the surrounding, and by the description it suits what Schumacher is looking for, and what his agent is announcing.
The president of the board of directors of the Institute, Dragan Jankovic, however, says that villa “Galeb” is not sold, and that soon a tender should be announced for the sales of the majority package of the institute in whose ownership is villa “Galeb”.
Among the villas that suit the car as another residence of the former president of SFRJ – Lovcenka, which is in complex of the Center for the military health facilities in Meljine is also being mentioned. In that residence the owner would not have the privacy, as it is said in the text of the “24 sata”, because it is built in the scope of the Military hospital.
In Herceg Novi Municipality the prices of the land keep growing. A month ago on the coast on Lustica a land complex was sold for 9 millions of euros.
