Belgrade – Oil industry of Serbia is preparing to take part in on the open competition for the strategic partner of Montenegrin state company Montenegrobonus.
Portal Energyobserver has published that the Serbian NIS, with that investment, and together with Croatian INA, would make the major strategic advantage considering the territorial connection.
With the open competition, which was published on the 7th of April, they have predicted the foundation of the joined enterprise in which Montenegrobonus and the chosen strategic partner would have equal shares, and its seat would be on Cetinje.
It is planned that the newly founded enterprise should deal with acquisition, construction, exploiting, and deals of retail trade which beside the gas stations means the storage houses of oil and oil lubricants, terminals for embarking and disembarking, and gas pipes.
Montenegrobonus is the owner of oil and storages of dispersed material in several Montenegrin towns, and was founded, as it was then established in the Government, with the intention to help the healing of Cetinje economy and in goal of decrease of oil lubricants.
For the research of oil and gas in Montenegro and privatization of Montenegrobonus the interest was shown so far by Croatian INA, Greek Hellenic, Slovenian Petrol, Hungarian MOL, Russian Lukoil, and Canadian Bankers petroleum. Beside them, companies from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Germany,and a group of Greek bank men and industrials are also interested.
