Zabljak – The day before yesterday’s rain was replaced by the snow which was falling yesterday and returned the nice atmosphere in this ski center, which has the privilege that it is the only one in the surrounding in which one can enjoy in winter sports. Since yesterday the skiing paths on Savin kuk and Javorovaca once again have a good visit.
New Year’s fever has ended. The guests who had a three day arrangement have left, but the new ones have come, so the good trend of almost full booking is continued. The weekend houses and private accommodation are also well filled. In the days to come in “Planinka” the guests will be entertained by Slaven Knezovic, and in “Zabljak” by Zoran Dragovic. Live music will be also heard in several city cafes. New snow falls and a strong yesterday’s blizzard did not obstruct the normal functioning of traffic in town, because since the early morning the snow plows of Communal enterprise are cruising down the city traffic arteries and parking lots removing the new snow from the previously well prepared traffic lines. The employees of “Crnagoraput” have allowed an unobstructed traffic towards Pljevlja, and Mojkovac as well as easy movement towards the skiing paths.
According to the words of Bosko Vojinovic from “Crnagoraput” they have problems over the Lake surface, because of the strong blizzard which decreases the visibility on the way towards Savnik.
-Because of that situation the mechanization is constantly cleaning this road. In coordination with the police we are organizing the passing ability of roads. We are forced to make the traffic in the length of 10 km function in one way in turns. The columns are formed which are moving safely behind the snow plow. When one column is lead through the other is being taken over and it is being led towards Zabljak – said Vojinovic and added that the traffic participants, aware of the situation, are disciplined, and they emphasize that on directing oneself towards Durmitor people should inform themselves about the conditions on the road.
