Belgrade – concerning visit of Serbian tourist this summer to Montenegro nothing important will change and if there are some tensions and will of citizens of Montenegro be at coming referendum that will not influence tourist season – said yesterday Serbian Minister of tourism, services and trade Ph. D. Bojan Dimitrijevic after visit of stand of Tourist organization of Montenegro at Belgrade tourism fair.
Dimitrijevic who stressed that holidays of 1st May he will spend in hotel “Maestral” at Przno considers that “People do not look at going to holidays in a politic way”.
– For most of citizens that intend to go to Montenegro there will be no problem – stressed Dimitrijevic.
Montenegro Minister of tourism Predrag Nenezic said that Montenegro ready waits season and that quality of offer is at a considerably larger level.
– Montenegro has 217 hotels, more than 13000 rooms and on that level that considerably can meet the most guests from all markets – stressed Nenezic at press conference in press center of Belgrade fair.
He said that Montenegro will visit around million of guests, 14% more than last year.
– We expect 400000 foreign and 550000 tourists from Serbia. I think that this increase of guests we can manage. Our plans are introducing low budget airlines at market of Montenegro and that in May start negotiations with one of the largest companies in that field and I count that till end of year will connect Montenegro with one number of destinations where we do not have air transport – stressed Nenezic and invited Serbian guests to come to spend summer holidays in Montenegro because high quality and last year level of prices wait them.
Director of “Morsko dobro” Rajko Barovic sait that beach offer will be enriched with special organization shapes that satisfy tastes and needs of various tourists.
– This year program has total of 411 beaches of that number 366 public, open to all, 42 hotel with special high standards of beach offer as three representative beaches with limited regime of use. Our slogan this year at Montenegro beaches is “More clean, fitted and safer”. Bathing season starts on May 1st and ends on October 30th and in that period all beaches must be fitted and organized.
