Kotor – One of the leading European producers of juices – Slovenian “Fructal”, has formed a club of restaurant and hotelkeepers of Montenegro. The club that was presented yesterday in the Kotor hotel “Amfora” was founded in the goal of improvement of education of the restaurant and hotel personnel.
Ivan Prelevic, in the name of the club, said that in the time when tourism in Montenegro is developing more quickly than it was expected, the problem of stuff is becoming more obvious.
– International certificates of quality are being implemented, and the organized education is not enough. Slovenian “Fructal” recognized this great problem in Montenegro and has decided to help – said Stankovic.
He believes that it will help the raising of the professionalism in hotel and restaurant keeping in Montenegro.
The mangers of the company have introduced yesterday the waiters and bar tenders from Montenegro with the novelties.
Among other things, waiters of the renowned Podgorica restaurant “Masa” have hailed the forming of the club and are expecting a good cooperation with “Fructal”.
The club will train all the members; it will inform them about the novelties in the market, organize study travels around Europe in order for hotel and restaurant workers to get to know with the way of work in already developed tourist destinations.
All the interested parties can apply in the hotel “Amfora”, which recently, in cooperation with the Bureau for employment, has started to organize the school of hotel and restaurant keeping.
The school is attended by a dozen of students from central and coastal region.
