Budva – After two and a half months of break, as much as it was needed for Electrical company of Montenegro to relocate the main landline, the construction of the main aqua town on hill Toplis, above Budva will be continued next week.
After the Minister of tourism Predrag Nenezic laid the foundation stone for the construction of aqua park at the beginning of September, first of that kind in the Adriatic, the ground works begun, but soon they were stopped, because the main electrical landline which was on that location had to be relocated.
Slowness in ECM in doing so provoked several months of delay because of which aqua park, most likely will not be fully put in function during this summer.
In Bar Harbor last week came about 10 containers with equipment for the Aqua Park. They are expecting the arrival of remaining 7 containers. Municipality Budva has concluded an exclusive contract at the end of March last year with Cyprus company “Numerico Trading Limited” with which they have predicted the lease of 60.000 square meters of land on hill Toplis for 20 years, on which a water town will be constructed.
Cyprus company, which is a part of the international corporation “Aqua park” with a seat in Valencia, in almost all destinations all over the world has more than 100 aqua parks.
Water town in Budva will unite a range of entertaining contents – open pools, jumping boards and toboggans, that is all of the things which can be found in the facilities of that kind.
The contractor is the company “Trade Unique”, and it is estimated that the investment will cost between 6 and 8 millions of euros.
As it was earlier said, Cyprus company will employ in aqua park 110 to 120 workers, fo whom some of them will be season workers.
Maximal capacity of Aqua Park will be 6.000 to 7.000 visitors per day.
Average price of the ticker for adults will be 12 to 15 euros, and for children from 8 to 10 euros.
Aqua Park, as it was said, will be a minimal consumer, that is, it will spend less water then a motel with 40 beds.
