Budva – that this season will break all records of visit, testifies the newest record of Budva TO according to which at the moment there are 25.087 guests in the metropolis of tourism, which is a half of the total number of tourists who are staying in Montenegro.
According to the official records there are 48.836 tourists in Montenegro, which is 11.100 guests more than at the same time last year, that is 29% more than at the beginning of July in 2006. At the same time that is 16.475 tourists more compared to the last week.
According to the words of PR of Budva TO Dragana Vukoja current visit of Budva Rivera is for ¼ bigger than at the beginning of July last year.
– From the total number of guests 24.062 are foreigners, while 1.025 of them are domestic ones. Majority of guests are staying in hotels, where at the moment there are 12.245 tourists or 21% more than last year. Hotelkeepers have received 11.870 foreign and 375 domestic tourists. In the rest homes there are 3.500 tourists exclusively foreigners, which is a visit equal to the one which was noted last year. The same thing is with the camps which have 342 campers – said Vukoje.
Having in mind that there is no precise statistic data in about the number of beds in private accommodation on Budva Riviera, as Vukoje pointed out only estimates of the number of guests in that type of accommodation can be given.
That the hotels are completely full confirm in the biggest hotel tourist enterprise Budva Riviera in whose hotels Slovenska plaza, Aleksandar and Palas there are more than 3.500 guests. In the hotels “Montenegro stars group hotel”, Splenid and Montenegro in Becici and Budva Blue star there are about 1.000 guests while in hotel Maestral in Przno, owned by Slovenian company “HIT” there are more than 500 foreign tourists.
MAJORITY OF COMPLAINTS FOR THE GARBAGE
Telephone service for complaints, reclamation and praises of the Ministry of tourism and protection of environment 9817 during the last week received totally 283 calls, of which 229 were complaints and 54 praises.
– Montenegro tourist center has noted that the complaints were mostly related to garbage, waste (63 complaints), too loud music, construction works, beaches) charging of the entrance, usage of beach equipment, cleanness), not giving of receipts, stray dogs.
Praises were related to efficiency of solving of complaints, on arranged swimming resorts, action “Let’s make it clean”. In the period from 1st of June until 29th of June Service of the telephone for complaints has received totally 776 calls of which 631 were complaints and 145 were praises. Service of the telephone for information is 9797 and in the same period it has 5500 calls daily – said the manager of national TO Danica Ceranic.
