Bar – On a just ended XII International book fair in Pula, Municipality of Bar has presented its tourist and cultural potentials. Tourist organization Bar has promoted the entire offer of Bar Municipality, from coastal and lake shore of Bar up to the details about the culturally – historical inheritance.
– 90 guests attended the presentation – representatives of the public and business life of Pula, tourist economy and local and regional media. The greatest interest was shown for summer holidays in the pre season in the suite type of accommodation, as well as for the cruise over the Skadar Lake, and as a part of the presentation there also was organized a cocktail with tasting of traditional Bar specialties – said for “Vijesti” the director of TOB, Neda Ivanovic.
As a part of the project “Jadran – Polis – Europe”, which welcomed also the famous Italian writer, Umberto Eko, Public Enterprise Cultural center Bar, in Pula, presented the exhibition “Sons and daughters”, a display of 50 works of famous Montenegrin painters. The exhibition was opened by the chief of culture of the Istra district, Lucija Debeljak, and the historians of art Gorka Ostojic – Cvajner and Anastazija Miranovic, who is the manager of the Bar gallery “Velimir A. Lekovic”, spoke about the display.
– Because of the great interest a new invitation for the exhibition of paintings came from Zagreb. Even though the paintings from the exhibition were not for sale, there were some interests shown for the purchase of some pieces of art. A cooperation which was established after a several year break will be continued with similar projects which will be realized in Montenegro – said Miranovic.
