Herceg Novi/ Bijelo Polje/ Pluzine – Crows on crossing borders towards Montenegro have already stared, but for now there are no major holds. For those who wish to spend their vacation on Montenegrin coast and mountains usual formalities do not take longer than 10 minutes and majority of crossings on borders are marked in early morning and late evening hours.
The most frequent crossing border between Montenegro and Croatia Debeli brijeg daily is crossed by 6.500 passengers and about 1.300 vehicles, among which are about a hundred of buses.
– Those are mostly tourist buses which take guests from Montenegro for an excursion to Dubrovnik and vice versa. In the high tourist season there will 20% of them more than now – says Petar Radoic, assistant of the manager of the branch office Sutorina in the office of Border police of Herceg Novi.
Four tracks are in function on the crossing border, and on police and custom formalities you don’t wait longer than 5 to 6 minutes.

Man from Tuzla Enes Zunic this year is for the first time in Montenegro. His co-traveler says that “he is pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the crossing border”.
Majority of crossings on Debeli brijeg are noted about 9 a.m, and about 17 p.m., and there are even more entries than exits from Montenegro.
On the crossing border Sitnica the crowds are biggest during the weekend. At that time people mostly from Trebinje come to the seaside, and also food manufacturers come to Herceg Novi market.
That crossing border between Montenegro and BiH daily is crossed by 1.300 passengers and 350 vehicles.
Probably many who have an alternative road will less use this one this summer, because the works on construction of the road Petijevici – Meljine are in process.
Second crossing border with Croatia on Kobila is poorly used. About 30 vehicles ad 70 passengers cross the border here.
On the crossing border Dobrakovo near Bijelo Polje, the crowds are evident, but there are no longer stops. As we found out from the employee on the crossing border in the last few days the crossing border is crossed in both ways by about 4.000 people, that is by approximately 1.500 vehicles.
The employees on the crossing border point out that everything would function faster if they had another two entry and two exit tracks.

One police officer added that it is necessary to provide police cabins with a ramp, with which, he says, the control would be much faster.
Engineer of electro techniques from Valjevo Ivan Mirkovic with his daughter went for Budva where he will stay for two weeks.
– We have traveled without any problems on the crossing border Gostun too and as on this one in Dobrakovo there weren’t any special procedures – says Mirkovic.

– I will stay there for a month, and as for the procedure on crossing borders Gostun and Dobrakovo I would stress the amiability and kindness of the workers – says Horvat.
The traffic line towards Sarajevo is still not at high, but along the section through Piva you can already see smaller columns of vehicles with foreign plates which are crossing the border on Scepan polje.
– We are coming to Montenegro almost always since 1991. We mostly stay in Rafailovici and Budva – says Njegos Kablar, pensioner from Pale, while with his family he is crossing the border on Tara.
Macedonian Emberli Hiseni, a teacher, all the way from Norway came with 10 year old Toyota in order to see for the first time Ulcinj beach. Thousands of miles, as he said are nothing compare to 17 kilometers of section from Foca to Scepan polje.
If it was night I wouldn’t be able to drive but what can you do: what a country you have, that is the kind of a road you have– he said. Singer Marija Sestic from Banja Luka, the representative of BiH on this year’s Eurovision contest entered Montenegro on the crossing border Debeli brijeg. Marija, who, even though tired from the trip says she will have the onset on Budva festival, and that she will be the guest on the concert of this year’s winner of Eurovision contest Marija Serifovic.
Marija and her team and friends will use their staying in Budva for a short break from gigs and for swimming in the sea because “in Montenegro, especially on its coast – there are some very beautiful areas”.
