Coordinator of the UNDP program in Montenegro Milica Begovic Radojevic said that the priject is not exclusively related to Durmitor, but also on other places in the North West of the Republic.
– Inside UNDP we have GIS project in which we have installed all information from these areas. During august we had here experts from mountaineering, cycling, hill cycling, geology, speleologist, bio diversity, cartography, and photography – said Begovic-Radojevic and pointed out that the clients who are interested in this will be offered very good and all-encompassing maps.
She pointed out that tourism in nature is in expansion and in majority of cases rich clients are interested in it which an opportunity for these areas and for people who live here.
NGO Most has the task of identifying all tourist, service, and other contents on Durmitor which are a part of this project.
That has all been marked and it has to be covered all together with proper signalization. In that way we will renew marked paths on so-far famous mountain paths, and we will also mark some new paths – said Begovic-Radojevic.
