Podgorica/Kolasin – Public pressures of the ex Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Minister of tourism Predrag Nenezic who have warned that the staling of privatization of the Ski center is jeopardizing the development of the North region, have obviously yielded fruit.
The bankruptcy director of Kolasin ski center “Bjelasica”, Srecko Medenica has announced yesterday that until the end of the week they will announce a new add about the sales of the property of the ski center.
That at the same time will be the 6th attempt of the sale of the ski center which for years has been led by the Business court because of the bankruptcy.
– The publicity will be informed about the details of the addvertisement in time – said Medenica for “Vijesti”.
Medenica claims that he is the one who is least in charge of the decision about the sales. Ski center is formally directed by the Business court through the bankruptcy director, and the major owners of the stock shares are state funds.
-I claim that it is not the court which is to be blamed that the privatization did not succeed. Funds have announced the auction for the sales, and it did not work, because the form of the auction sales was not fulfilled – he added.
Medenica, however did not say why the four advertisements about the sales of the property, which were announced by the court, that is, by the bankruptcy director. In the Fund for development and Fund of PII, which are the major owners of the ski center yesterday there were no people available for comments. In the Bureau for employment, which has an insignificant owner’s share, say that “since the beginning they have been pleading for privatization.
Ski center has to be privatized as soon as possible and that is our attitude. Since the beginning we have been pleading for privatization – that was everything that the director of the Bureau, Branimir Bojanic, said.
In all five attempts of the sales of the ski center the only company which has applied was Beppler and Jacobson, which is the owner of the hotel “Bjanka” in Kolasin and of hotel “Avala” in Budva.
On the previous tender Beppler offered around 550.000 euros for the major package of stock shares and 3, 5 millions for the investments. This company on every other tender has been decreasing the offer. On the first tender the offered investments were nine millions, and on the last one they were 3, 5 millions. Beppler was also the only one who applied for the auction which was supposed to be held several days before the New Year, but it was nullified because the condition of applying f at least two investors was not fulfilled.
READY FOR THE SEASON
Medenica says that the ski center is ready for the winter season.
-The conditions of the road and of the wires are good, technical and technological correctness of the ski path is satisfying. As for the funicular railway and ski lifts they have received permits from the official institutions. For now the biggest problem is the insufficient amount of snow.
Otherwise the ski center is opened and all the contents are in use, and the offer in the restaurants is on a satisfactory level, and the prices have not been changed for 6 years – said Medenica.
