Budva – Aqua Park on the hill Toplis above Budva, first of that kind in the Adriatic, should be formally opened at the beginning of July. The municipality at the end of March concluded a contract with Cyprus “Numerico trading limited”, with which it is predicted that that company will take under a twenty year old lease 60.000m2 on the hill Toplis.
Cyprus company is a part of the international corporation “Aqua – park” whose seat is in Valencia, and which in almost all destinations of the world has more than 96 aqua parks.
Water town will include a range of entertaining contents – open pools, diving boards, toboggans, and all the things that can be found in the facilities of that kind.
Manager of the municipality Budva, Aleksandar Ticic, stresses that the contractor “Trade unique” has finished the first and the second phase of construction, which predicted the arrangement of the terrain.
– Now the installation of the elements is to happen. The equipment arrives on the 10th of February in Bar Harbor, and it will be installed in April or May. It is predicted that the object will take up ab0ut 2.500m2, and we should not forget that the construction of approaching roads, parking spaces, restaurants and other accompanying objects is also predicted by the project. We are watching how the works are being done, so the municipality is in direct contact with the Spaniards. They will come to Budva during this week, and they will present us how the aqua park will look like – said Ticic.
