Budva – Directors of Budva primary school “Stefan Mitrov Ljubisa” and “Simon Jerko” from Kranj Zdenka Grbavcevic and Nevenka Skrilj signed yesterday an agreement about the cooperation of those two education facilities.
Representatives of that Slovenian school, 47 of them were on a study travel in the past two days around Montenegro.
Pointing out that they have chosen Budva school to be their collaborator Skrilj said that their goal is to meet Montenegro, as well as our system of education.
– With Budva people, who have received us we will exchange our experiences, bridge our knowledge and find out something new. Montenegro indeed is a really beautiful country in which we were convinced during our staying here – said Skrilj.
In Slovenia she added, they have 9 years of primary school, so there are a lot of information, which Slovenia can provide for Montenegro.
By that program, reminded Grbavcevic, Budva School will be working too starting from September.
– We have a lot in common, so the experiences of colleagues from Kranja will do good for us in our future work – she said.
For the Day of the Municipality, which is on the 22nd of November said Grbavcevic a new beginning of cooperation of two primary schools will be marked and they will do that with an opening of a fine art exhibition. Pointing out that for Budva school the signing of the agreement and extension of cooperation with Slovenian school is extremely important mayor M.A. Rajko Kuljaca said that with mutual visits pupils of Budva and Kranj School will be meeting European standards of education.
– With the construction of new building of primary school the local administration has the intention to create in Budva those European conditions for the development of reformed education – said Kuljaca.
