The eleventh White Field Jazz Festival in Bijelo Polje will be hung on June 30 and July 1. Sinan Alimanović and acoustic-electronic twosome Mark Fogel and Lukas Šimer from Austria will perform at the celebration.
“The principal night of the Festival will be Caravan Blues Band from Montenegro, Djordje Obradovic quartet from Novi Sad, Sula Jovovic quartet and visitor of the night Sinan Alimanovic. The other night will be performed by understudies from the Sarajevo Music Academy, Klajazz Quintet, acoustic-electronic pair Mark Fogel and Lukas Šimer from Austria, and Dr Wolf and the Children of the Night, “is gradually beginning from JU Ratković’s sonnet of verse, which is the coordinator of the occasion.
The coordinators brought up that the acoustic-electronic couple Mark Fogel and Lucas Schimer from Austria play contemporary jazz music by joining contemporary acoustic jazz with electronic components and well known rhythms.
Sinan Alimanovic is a teacher at the Music Academy in Sarajevo. Five times he was conductor and arranger at Eurosong. About the work and inventiveness of Sinan Alimanovic, a narrative was shot in three sections called “Sinan Alimanovic – Jazz Musician”, created by the State Radio Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Additionally at the Festival will be Miodrag Šule Jovović, the Podgorica jazz guitarist, who is the author of the Piva Jazz Band, through which all Montenegrin jazz performers passed.
