Ryanair launches Podgorica-Barcelona direct flights from June 2019

Podgorica–Barcelona direct flights will be launched as of June. The Airports of Montenegro managed to reach an agreement with the low cost carrier, Ryanair, which will be flying to Barcelona once per week for now, and even twice weekly as of October.

The significance of this line is enormous, as Podgorica Airport will be the only airport in the region that will be connected to Barcelona throughout the year. Other airports have seasonal lines with the capital of Catalonia, so Podgorica will be the point of uniting this part of Europe with Barcelona outside the season.

This is also the first flight route connecting Montenegro and Spain.
