Nineteen-year-old Martina Bozinovic from Tivat, a student of the Faculty of Transport, Communication, and Logistics, is this year’s Montenegro Miss Tourism. She took the flattering title and she says she will now be ready to compete for the Miss Tourism World contest in order to present Montenegro in the brightest light next year in Dubai.

Gorgeous and talented are the few words that describe Martina Bozinovic, Montenegro Miss Tourism. Her honesty and positivity is pretty impressive. In a conversation with us, she talks about how she embarked on this journey and her preparation for the main Montenegro Miss Tourism pageant and a lot more. She has recommended some of the best national dishes, must visit places in Montenegro and her favorite nightclub in Budva!

How does it feel to win the Miss Tourism title? Has the feeling sunk in yet?
As you can imagine, I am over the moon! It’s truly an honour to hold this title and to represent my country in the future world competition.

How or where did you get the idea of applying?
I have been standing in front of the camera for years now. I’ve done some movies, videos, and commercials, where I actually met one of the participants in the Montenegro Miss Tourism pageant. She told me all about it, so I decided to try it out myself.

That’s fantastic! And what do you like to do in your free time? Any hobbies?
Well, I’m studying at the Faculty of Communications and Logistics, so most of my time is spent studying, but I really enjoy spending time with my family.

Hard work pays off! When it comes to your country, Montenegro, you must have some favourite places or beaches?
My favourite place is definitely Tivat, it’s my hometown, I simply love it! When it comes to my favourite beaches, there are so many, I’m not sure if I could choose only one. Each one offers a lot of fun, that’s for sure.

Any favourite nightclubs in Budva?
Definitely Top Hill!

Do you plan on staying in Montenegro in the future, or would you like to have a professional career somewhere abroad?
I would definitely like to stay in Montenegro, graduate and become a successful businesswoman.

How about food? Is there something specific you like to eat, or any Montenegrin delicacy?
I  really love seafood, but my favourite Montenegrin dish must be a lamb in milk.

Tasty! What would you recommend to tourists, what is a must-try dish in Montenegro?
To everyone who comes to Montenegro for the first time, I’d recommend our Njeguški pršut (prosciutto) with cheese and of course, brudet with seashells and fish.

And final question: a must-visit place is?
I’d definitely say Cetinje, Budva, Kotor, and Tivat!

Best of luck, Martina!
